This is the process to get a clearance to play for Harlies, if you have played Hockey in the past for another club anywhere in the country. If you've had a few years off, it doesn't matter, you still need to get a clearance from the last Club you played for.

It is the players responsibility in the first instance to ensure that:

  • They have paid their fee's and are completely financial with their old club.
  • To download and complete the clearance paperwork and submit it to the Harlies Registrar.

The process is:

  • The player needs to download and fill out a clearance form from here.
  • Once this is done, the form needs to be scanned and emailed to registrar@harlies.org.au. CC the coach of the team to ensure they are kept in the loop.
  • The registrar will then email your form to the registrar of your old club, HockeyWA (to ensure HockeyWA are kept in the loop), and yourself.
  • If you are financial at your old club, then the registrar should, without delay grant you a clearance by return email to the Harlies registrar, HockeyWA, and yourself. Once this email has been received from your old club, you are cleared to play at Harlies.

Note that all committee jobs across clubs are usually volunteer based, so if you don't get a response in a timely fashion, feel free to send a polite email requesting a follow up.
