Season 2012 Opening Night
The 2012 Opening Night will occur sometime around the 21st April. We are awaiting fixtures to come out before confirming the details, but please put this date into your diaries now!
Below are some of the people that have played for Harlies over the years, and also represented our country in national teams! Come and join our club!
Paul Gaudoin was a product of the Harlies Junior Program, Paul was first selected to play for Australia at the age of 18, and went on to captain the Australian team, and then coach the Thundersticks. Liane Tooth and Brent Livermore also went on to captain the Australian team. Luke Doerner is currently still in the Australian team. He plays at full back, and is the number 1 drag flicker in the country, and regarded as one of the best in the world having scored over 100 goals for Australia. Adam Commens, a former Harlies and Australian midfielder / striker is the current Hockeyroos coach. Also represented above are Shelley Liddelow, Lousie Dobson, Juliet Haslam, Kristen Towers, and Rachel Imison who have all had tremendous national success.
